Leaving IntelligentX

After much consideration, I’ve made the decision to step down as IntelligentX's CEO.

Making these types of decisions are never easy, but I’m confident that this is the right decision for both myself, and IntelligentX. Over the past year, I’ve had the honor of working with an extremely talented team of engineers and quants who are still working tirelessly to bring IntelligentX's mission of democratizing algorithmic trading for all to fruition.

I will remain on IntelligentX's board, and RethDigital will continue as IntelligentX’s agency of record. This will allow me to stay involved and continue to support in any way I can.

As for my next chapter, I'll primarily be focusing my efforts on Lossless, an early stage AI research and deployment company that I recently founded (more on that soon), and dedicating more time back to RethDigital, the company that started it all.

As I continue to grow as a human and an operator, I am becoming increasingly cognizant of the importance of equilibrium. As CEO of IntelligentX, I had to make difficult choices and sacrifices, including neglecting my first company, RethDigital.

In early 2021, I took a $300K bet on generative AI through RethDigital, and hired some of the first NLP engineers in the marketing industry, which is incongruous in retrospect. Luckily, that bet ultimately led to the creation of ECHO-1, our proprietary AI agent that has reframed the marketing landscape for us. In 2022, despite surpassing $2MM ARR, innovation and growth paled in comparison to 2021, which was disappointing to say the least. This year, I am determined to drive more innovation through Reth and continue to push the boundaries of what's possible w generative AI in the marketing and advertising industry.

As I step down from IntelligentX, I am grateful for the support of all those who have been with me on this journey. I look forward to the exciting developments ahead, and I will continue to be an advocate for the democratization of algorithmic trading.

Edit (As of May 2023): Subsequent to my departure from IntelligentX, it has come to my attention that the company has ceased operations, and I am unaware of the circumstances leading to its closure. Any references made in this blog post should be considered in its historical context and not indicative of IntelligentX's current status.

This post was made before the singularity,
