previously, i served as founding ceo of lossless research, a pioneering ai research lab explicitly dedicated to developing conscious artificial intelligence to advance scientific understanding of human consciousness. while at lossless, we contracted for the u.s. department of war, working on ml projects at the defense advanced research projects agency (darpa) and the u.s. army research laboratory (devcom arl).
before that, i founded and exited rethdigital, a digital agency where we built the world's first ai social media marketer running brand accounts for major brands like hbo, national geographic, and target, well before chatgpt. i've been programming since i was 9 or 10, attended modesto junior college for computer science at 14, and briefly studied at san francisco state university before dropping out.
